About Me

Hi, I'm Jenny, I'm twenty one, I live in Switzerland with my family (in other words, haven't left home yet) and we live in a beautiful area near Rapperswil, which is at the opposite end of Zurich lake to Zurich city and has incredible views of the lake and mountains.

I've lived in Switzerland for five years, went to school in the UK and then studied at home for a bit, and I'm still always gettting asked where I go to school, which drives me insane. I know I look young but I don't think I look that young.

I love reading (I'm big into classics and historical biographies right now), all kinds of music, good films, single malt whiskies, brewing beer and motorbikes. I'm part of the brewing team of Spiffing Ales Microbrewery, which, at the time being, is a very small operation which produces real British ale in Switzerland.

My writing is what tends to dominate my life though. I've been writing full length novels since I was thirteen (which I now look back on and think they're rubbish!). You can read my writing tips by clicking on the menu above.

Some random things about me: I'm absolutely terrified of telephones, as in I can't talk to people on one at all. I once won a short story competition at my local bookshop with a story I wrote in half an hour.  I'm a bit useless, it takes me ages to get anything done, I can be horribly shy and I don't have much ambition.
